OCSO Arrests Fort Lauderdale, FL Man on Multiple Charges Related to Vehicle Break-Ins

A Fort Lauderdale, FL man is apparently out of jail on bond after his arrest late last week on multiple charges related to vehicle break-ins in Oconee County.

Oconee County Deputies arrested 30 year old Nyah Binghi Tafari Adderley last Friday after he was transported from the York County Detention Center.

After an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Bureau, an Investigator has charged Adderley with breaking into four separate vehicles (a 2018 Subaru Outback, a 2019 Toyota Highlander, a 2015 Honda CRV and a 2010 Toyota Corolla) at South Cove County Park on October 15th of this year. The investigation began after deputies from the Uniform Patrol Bureau responded to the crime scenes.

In each instance, Adderley is charged with stealing a purse from each vehicle and taking credit cards and other items. At two separate businesses, Adderley used a victim’s credit card to obtain Visa Gift Cards. The value of one of the gifts cards was approximately $510.25 while the value of the other gift card was approximately $506.01.

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation.
