OHS Date Change for Betty White Birthday Celebration

Due to the winter storm forecast, we are moving the birthday celebration at the shelter from Monday, January 17 to Jan Tuesday, January 18. The celebration will be held between 10:30am and 4:30pm.

In honor of what would have been White’s 100 birthday, OHS is throwing a party to celebrate Betty White and the shelter animals in their care.

In addition to cake, for humans and pets, OHS will have $50 spay/neuter vouchers for all Oconee residents, free pet gifts and the chance to learn how to help homeless pets in 2022.

Donations for the social media Betty White Challenge, where people are encouraged to donate $5 to their local shelter, will also be accepted at the adoption center and at oconeehumane.org or on their Facebook donate button. Join the OHS as they remember the amazing ways Betty White supported pets in need.
