OJRSA Meeting Today to Consider Engineers for Master Plan

The Oconee Joint Regional Sewer Authority (OJRSA) is considering hiring Weston & Sampson engineers to develop a Central Oconee County Sewer Master Plan. This plan would use the same approach as the Fair Play Area Sewer Basin Plan, which was completed in 2012.

The goal of the plan is to provide a consistent and objective framework for planning and managing the sewer infrastructure in the county for the next 20 years. The plan would address the current and future needs of the county, as well as the optimal location and size of the sewer facilities. The estimated cost of the plan is $307,800, plus a $10,000 contingency. The OJRSA board will discuss and vote on this proposal at their meeting today.
