OJRSA Meeting with County Council Next Week

Oconee County Council and the Joint Regional Sewer Authority will be holding a joint meeting next week to discuss sewer line extensions. The meeting will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 5th at the County Council Chambers in Walhalla.

The Chairman of the JRSA board, Westminster Mayor Brian Ramey, believes that conferring with the council is essential in determining where sewer line extensions should be placed. This is especially important for the potential of new commercial development along the Seneca-Clemson corridor and for long-discussed economic development on the county’s four-mile stretch of I-85.
