OJRSA Wants to Increase Rates

Meeting the regulatory requirements of the EPA, which is predicted to take a number of years for the OJRSA, comes at a time when customers in Seneca, Walhalla and Westminster are most likely going to be charged more for water and sewer services. Residents in Seneca are forecast to pay the most, at an increase of more than $1.2 million, while Walhalla is seeing an increase of just over $97,000 and Westminster’s share is expected to go up by a little more than $64,000.  Moulder, who not only chairs the OJRSA Board, but is also City Administrator for Seneca, said the numbers speak for themselves when it comes to the equality of the division of the rate increases…
