The one-story building will be made up of three separate classroom wings for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, and will serve approximately 850 students. Hallways will be wide enough to allow for social distancing, and the new facility will feature a cafeteria big enough for 350, a gym with seating for 1,200, a parking lot with 250 spaces and a practice football field. The new middle school is scheduled to open in August 2024.
