Part of Clemson under Boil Water Advisory

The City of Clemson advises the residents of Elm Street, Calhoun Street, Warbranch Road, and Fern Circle to vigorously boil their water for at least one full minute prior to drinking or cooking until otherwise notified by the city. In addition, any ice made from water, which has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes. This advisory is being issued as a precaution only, due to low water pressure caused by the repair of a 6” main waterline break caused by a directional boring contractor. The City of Clemson is presently working to correct the problem and has taken samples throughout this area. Water sample testing should be completed around 4pm Thursday, July 21.
