Participate in Walhalla Candidates Forum

The Nov. 3 election for the City of Walhalla Mayor and Council race is drawing near. The Walhalla Area Chamber of Commerce invites the community to participate in its Candidate Forum, explains executive director Vanessa Penton. “Our Candidate Forum is on Oct. 27 at 6:30pm in the Walhalla Civic Auditorium. Members of the community can submit questions for the candidates by logging onto the Walhalla Chamber website at www.walhallachamber.com and click on the “Candidate Forum” logo or by calling 864-638-2727.” Running for mayor are incumbent Mayor Danny Edwards and Dennis Owens. Those vying for the three seats on council are incumbents Danny Woodward, David Underwood and Tjay Bagwell and past council members Davey Lee and Randy Chastain.
