Pastor walking across America comes to Seneca

A pastor walking across America is in Seneca today. You may notice him along Highway 123 waiving an American flag and wearing a sign calling for a rebirth of freedom and integrity. “Almost two years ago when I was living homeless out in the desert of Arizona, I took eight months to empathize with homeless people and God called me to walk across America while I was sleeping in a tent out in the desert.” Pastor “Chick” McGill of Knoxville, Tennessee began his walk in North Carolina. He plans to drop off literature along his path. “It is time to walk in Seneca and if possible leave a message from God. I try to meet with city officials and leave a little booklet based upon the scripture that God commissioned me with and that is 2 Chronicles 7:14. It is a little prayer guide that I leave with each city that will receive it as a token of our appreciation for the cities that God has adorned us to walk through, so Seneca is on the docket for today.” So far, Pastor McGill has covered 537 miles of his journey, which concludes on the Saint Monica pier in California. “This is not a race, we will try to finish it up this year, but if it goes over into 2015, I’m not going to cry. This is all about networking with people that have a heart for America and have a heart for our children and our grand children. I would like to see America a place where you have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. As a nation, we have murdered more children in their mother’s wombs than have been lost in all the wars put together. So, I would like to see a nation where God is at the helm, He is the head coach and everybody is following in His lead.” Learn more about Pastor “Chick” McGill’s walk across America online at www.walkthewalknow.com or www.walkingcoast2coast.com. The pastor asks that local churches add his mission to their prayer list.
