Pickens Habitat for Humanity seeks Build Partners

The Pickens County Habitat for Humanity seeks build partners to help provide partial funding and volunteers to assist low-income Pickens County families in building “safe, decent, and affordable” homes.  A build partner can be any group of volunteers willing to come alongside approved homeowner families and assist them by volunteering time on the build site and providing funds to purchase needed construction materials. Some previous build partners include Easley Presbyterian Church, the Senior Class of Liberty High School, Cornell Dubilier, SCBT, Lowes of Easley, Clemson United Methodist Church, and the employees of Pickens County. Pickens County Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical Christian ministry that partners with community volunteers and local low income families who need safe, decent, and affordable homes. For more information on responsibilities of build partners and how you can help, or for information on opportunities for volunteers, call Jill Evans, Executive Director at 864-878-6374.
