Public Hearing Announced for Utica Mill Housing Project

Former Oconee County councilman Paul Cain, who used to live in Utica, welcomed the news that developers plan to use state tax credits to transform the old JP Stevens plant at Utica into a large low-income housing complex, known as Seneca Mill Lofts. The State Housing Finance and Development Authority announced plans to create 120 units for families at 1300 ES 6th Street, Seneca.
