Public’s Help requested in Missing Children Case

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in regards to locating four children who were last seen in the company of their mother.  Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Jimmy Watt gives details.  “The four girls, 10-year-old Lillian Marie Bennett, 9-year-old Minnie May Blanche Bennett, 8-year-old Carolina Amaryles Bennett, and 6-year-old Emily Grace Bennett live with their father at a Shelor Ferry Road address in Fair Play.  Their mother, 44-year-old Laverne Marie Bennett of 640 Fairfield Road in Walhalla has visitation rights every other weekend.  According to investigators, the mother picked the children up this past weekend and was scheduled to return them on July 7th.  The mother has yet to return them and has not been seen or heard from since.” If you have any information on the whereabouts of the mother or the four girls, call the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office at 864-638-4111.  You can also contact CrimeStoppers at 864-638-STOP or text in your tip to 274637.
