Public’s Help sought in locating Stolen Camper

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office seeks the public’s help in locating a camper that was stolen from a Westminster area business back in early October, explains Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Jimmy Watt. “A deputy responded to Parkway Campers at 7098 South Highway 11 around 4:24pm on Oct. 7 in reference to the stolen camper. The employee of Parkway was able to provide a name and number for the owner. The owner told the deputy that he left the camper there to be winterized. The camper was described to the deputy as being a 21-foot pull behind Fun Finder camper with a red stripe down the side with letters on the back that were falling off. The camper was valued at around $5,000 and is a 2007 model. Investigators feel that the camper was stolen sometime between Saturday, Oct. 4 and Monday, Oct. 6 but investigators do not have a time in which the camper may have been taken.” If you have any information on the theft of this camper, you are asked to call CrimeStoppers at 864-638-STOP.
