The first burglary was reported early Friday afternoon, Dec. 12, at an address in the 100 block of South Cove Road. The value of the items taken is around $260. Deputies also responded to an address in the 200 block of South Cove Road just before 8am on Sunday, Dec. 14. The homeowner discovered that the door to the garage was unlocked and that several drawers on several toolboxes were open. The homeowner told the deputy that the doors to the garage are kept locked and all the toolboxes are closed. Nothing appeared to be missing but pry marks were discovered on the door seal where it appears something was used to pry the door open. Later that same morning, deputies were dispatched to the 300 block of Keowee School Road to report of a burglary and larceny that the business owner believes occurred between 5am on Dec. 13 and 10am on Dec. 14. Lastly, deputies responded to an address in the 100 block of Indian Oaks Road around 10:39am Thursday morning in regards to reports of a burglary and larceny that reportedly occurred between 8am Dec. 11 and the date it was reported.
