Rebuild Upstate Gets Grant from Duke Energy

Rebuild Upstate, a non-profit organization serving Oconee and Pickens counties, has been awarded a $10,000 grant from Duke Energy. This grant is part of Duke Energy’s initiative to support South Carolina non-profits that assist seniors with home repairs.

The funds are allocated for critical home safety improvements, such as installing bathroom safety handrails, replacing deteriorated flooring, constructing handicap-accessible ramps, and fixing hazardous steps. This contribution is one of fifteen grants aimed at enhancing the living conditions of senior citizens through essential home repair services.
