Rep. Gowdy to address Clemson University Graduates

U.S. Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., addresses the summer graduates of Clemson University at 11am on Aug. 7 in the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville. Officials will award degrees to approximately 850 graduates at the school’s first graduation ceremony in Greenville, scheduled because of renovations under way at Littlejohn Coliseum on campus. The ceremony will be broadcast live on the ClemsonTV website. Gowdy, representing South Carolina’s fourth district, was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2010. Before his election to Congress, Gowdy was a district attorney for the state’s Seventh Judicial Circuit and spent six years as a federal prosecutor.
