Riley to be recognized for Service

Longtime Seneca City Councilman Ernest Riley will be recognized during a meeting at Greenville Friday for his years of service as a member of the policy board of a regional government service. Riley is to be recognized by Jane Hall, board chair, during a meeting of the board of directors of the South Carolina Appalachian Council of Governments. For the last two years, Riley has served as board chair. He served as an appointee of the Oconee Municipal Association.  ACOG will send a letter to Oconee County municipal mayors notifying them that, as the result of the recent Seneca municipal election, Riley will no longer serve as an ACOG board member.
