Rosa Clark Medical Clinic to receive Federal Funds

The federal government will send more than $50 million to health centers around the nation and the Rosa Clark Medical Clinic in Seneca is one of the beneficiaries. An announcement by Sylvia Burrell, Secretary of Health and Human Services, means $812,500 for the county’s only free clinic. The Rosa Clark Medical Clinic in Seneca and other free community health centers in the United States deliver care to those who can’t afford it and integrate pharmacy, mental health, substance abuse and oral health services in areas where economic, geographic or cultural barriers limit access to affordable health care services.
