School Bus Accident in Westminster

UPDATE – Statement from the School District of Oconee County: An SDOC bus that serves West-Oak High School was involved in a minor accident this morning. There were no injuries to the driver or any of the five students who were on the bus at the time of the accident.  The students were transported to school on another bus.  Parents are being notified of the situation.

An accident this morning between a school bus and a passenger car blocked traffic this morning in Westminster at W. Windsor Street near the railroad underpass and the traffic lights at SC 183/Westminster-Walhalla Highway. Officials are at the scene. No word of any injuries. We’ll bring more as it becomes available.
