SDOC holds Graduation Ceremonies on Saturday

This Saturday, June 2, the School District of Oconee County (SDOC) holds graduation ceremonies. Once again, all three high school graduation ceremonies will be held in Littlejohn Coliseum on the campus of Clemson University, explains Oconee County Schools Assistant Superintendent of Operations Steve Hanvey. “We will again be at Littlejohn Coliseum and we will start off with West-Oak High School at 9am, followed by Walhalla High School at 11:30am and Seneca High School will wrap our day of graduation with a 2pm ceremony.” Hanvey says Littlejohn Coliseum offers many benefits when it comes to hosting large graduation ceremonies. “It is easier for everybody if we have this area. It’s cool and comfortable. Folks get in there and it is a good event for all of our folks. If you go to a church and you want to see multiple kids, you can do those kind of things and if you have different grandkids in the areas you can do that as well.” Congratulations to this year’s graduates from the SDOC.
