The goal of this family-friendly event is to help remove the stigma surrounding mental health as well as make our students, families and community aware of mental health resources available within the district and community.

There will be activities for all ages including inflatables, cornhole, snacks, a DJ with music, and activities based on the Choose Love core values of courage, gratitude, forgiveness and compassion in action.

In addition, representatives from multiple organizations and agencies will be available to showcase local mental health resources.

High school seniors residing in Oconee County who attend and complete a Hike for Hope Passport will be eligible to receive one of two $500 scholarships.

Scholarship recipients will be drawn at the conclusion of the event. Students do not need to be present at the time of the drawing. Scholarship funds will be sent directly to the college.
