SDOC offering Fee-based 4K Slots

The School District of Oconee County (SDOC) 4K program has a few available fee-based slots, which are a new option for parents of children that didn’t initially place into the CDEP 4K program. These slots will be available through a fee of $1,500 and filled through a lottery system. Interested parents should contact the Early Learning office by calling 864-886-4503 no later than Aug. 1, 2016. Each attendance area; Seneca, Walhalla, and Westminster, may have a few fee-based slots available. The exact number of fee-based slots will be determined after the last scheduled 4K screening on Aug. 2, 2016. Fee-based slots may be available at these schools Northside Elementary, James M. Brown Elementary, Ravenel Elementary, and Tamassee-Salem Elementary. Parents will be required to provide transportation, should their child attend at an alternate location for this fee-based program.
