SDOC offering registration in Child Find Program

The School District of Oconee County (SDOC) is offering registration in the Child Find Program, which is an early intervention program that provides services to children as young as 3 years old who have developmental delays or special needs. Services for eligible children may include a half-day preschool program, transportation, support services, and more. If you believe your child may benefit from these services, please call the Child Find Office to arrange a screening at 864-886-4469. Child Find screenings are conducted for any child 2 1⁄2 years old and above. The SDOC provides services at no charge for students with identified disabilities such as speech, language, vision, hearing, developmental delays, and autism. Children must qualify under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act to receive services.
