SDOC still needs Bus Drivers

In Oconee County, 91 public school buses travel over 7,500 miles to get students to and from school each day. The School District of Oconee County needs more bus drivers, explains Ernestine Williams, Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources. “We still need bus drivers. We still need those great folks that enjoy getting up early in the morning and driving on those buses getting our students to school. Many of our students rely on transportation with the buses. We currently are four drivers short.” If you are interested in applying to be a bus driver, visit the School District of Oconee County’s website at www.oconee.k12.sc.us.
