SDOC taking proactive approach with Viruses

Cold and flu season has arrived in the Golden Corner of Upstate South Carolina and the School District of Oconee County is taking a proactive approach. The School District of Oconee County has gathered information about the flu, the enterovirus, and the Ebola virus. This information has been issued by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and is posted on the school district’s website, www.oconee.k12.sc.us, in order to keep parents informed and schools safe. If parents or guardians have questions or concerns about your student and one of the viruses, do not hesitate to contact your school nurse.
