SDOC to interview SHS Principal Candidates

The School District of Oconee County (SDOC) will interview candidates for principal at Seneca High School (SHS) after the holiday weekend, tells Oconee County Schools Superintendent Dr. Michael Thorsland. “We’ve been advertising for that position for the last week half or so and we closed that job positing yesterday afternoon and we anticipate interviewing some candidates on Tuesday morning.” Since the beginning of May, Assistant Principal Felicia LeRoy has been serving as interim principal at SHS after Cliff Roberts requested another job within the district in a surprise move. Next school year, Roberts will serve as an assistant principal and divide his time between Ravenel Elementary School and Walhalla Elementary School.
