Seneca announces Mosquito Spraying Schedule

The Public Works Department of the City of Seneca begins spraying for mosquitoes this week. Weather permitting on selected evenings, city crews spray starting June 17 through Oct. 1. The north side of Seneca is to be sprayed on these Wednesdays, June 17, July 8, July 22, Aug. 5, Aug. 19, Sept. 2, Sept. 16 and Sept. 20. The south side gets sprayed on these Thursdays, June 18, July 9, July 23, Aug. 6, Aug. 20, Sept. 3, Sept. 17 and Oct. 1. On evenings when it is not raining, crews plan to spray around 8:30pm.
