Seneca Horse may be Oldest of Kind

A family in Seneca hopes their horse can achieve the title as the oldest of its kind in the Guinness Book of World Records.  FOX Carolina reports that “Shot” was born in 1974 and is turning 40-years-old. Typically, horses only live to be 25 to 30-years-old. Zack Walters owns the horse and his family has cared for Shot since 1978. The family recently entered Shot into the running for oldest American Quarter Horse in the Guinness Book of World Records. The family must wait six to eight weeks to see if Shot is selected.
