Seneca Kicks Off Juneteenth with Best Pound Cake Contest

The Cities of Clemson and Seneca, along with Clemson University, have partnered together for this year’s Juneteenth celebration on Monday, June 19th, however on Saturday Seneca will host a concert downtown at Norton-Thompson Park. There was a total of twenty-six cakes entered in this year’s competition. Winners were selected by members of the Seneca City Council and a panel of five judges from the community. More information in the Juneteenth celebrations can be found online at Seneca.SC.US and CityofClemson.org.
