Seneca Man arrested after doing Doughnuts

A Seneca man stands charged with abuse of a wildlife management area, failure to stop for blue lights and child endangerment, after officers observed him doing doughnuts on DNR land before crashing his vehicle when fleeing from officers.  On Tuesday, warrants were served on 43-year-old Tracy Fowler.  The SC Department of Natural Resources reports that on April 18 a DNR officer in Pickens County witnessed Fowler’s vehicle doing doughnuts in a stream crossing in the north Clemson forest off SC 133. The officer turned on his blue lights and that is when Fowler tried to flee.  DNR officers pursued before Fowler wrecked his vehicle and then fled into the woods on foot, leaving his girlfriend and her small child in the vehicle.
