Seneca Man arrested on Domestic Violence Charges

A Seneca man stands charged with criminal domestic violence after hitting his girlfriend at their shared residence this week. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office reports that 37-year-old Carlton Gaylord Williams was arrested after the incident, his third domestic violence offense within ten years. The victim told deputies that Williams became aggressive after drinking all day and struck her in the face and slammed her head into a door as she tried to leave the apartment. A judge set Williams’ bond at $20,000.
