Seneca Man arrested on Grand Larceny Charges

On Thursday, the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Seneca man on grand larceny charges involving a vehicle. A deputy responded to an address on Crestwood Drive in Salem Monday regarding a stolen vehicle. The victim told the deputy that 36-year-old Andrew Steven Lusk inquired about doing some work to earn money. After taking Lusk to get some parts to work on the vehicle, the victim later discovered that the vehicle, a 1998 Ford Expedition, was missing. The vehicle’s information was entered into the National Crime Information Center. Deputies received word the next day that the vehicle and Lusk had been located in Anderson County by State Troopers. According to warrants, the value of the vehicle is around $2,500. Lusk was released from the Oconee County Detention Center on a $10,000 surety bond.
