Seneca Man arrested on Outstanding Armed Robbery Warrant

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Seneca man Tuesday on an outstanding armed robbery warrant. Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Jimmy Watt gives details. “23-year-old James Sebastian Hunter, Jr. of 303 Thomas Heights Circle was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center after turning himself in at the Oconee County Law Enforcement Center in Walhalla. The warrant charges Hunter, Jr. with taking $300 and a Wells Fargo Bank Card from two separate individuals while being armed with a handgun. The incident occurred at an address on Jasmine Lane in Seneca on Jan. 22, 2013. Hunter, Jr. also had three outstanding warrants from the Seneca Police Department on drug charges. Hunter, Jr. was released from the Detention Center on bond.” The armed robbery charge brought a $25,000 surety bond while the three drug charges brought a combined $30,000 personal recognizance bond.
