Seneca Man Charged with Grand Larceny, Accessory After A Felony
According to jail records, Oconee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Matthew Lane Carver, age 25 of Seneca on Thursday.
He was charged with grand larceny in connection with the recent theft of a utility trailer, as well as open container and accessory after the fact to a felony for aiding his brother, Andrew Lane Carver, after he had allegedly stolen another trailer. Matthew Carver was also served a bench warrant from West Union Municipal Court.
Back in January, 29 year-old Andrew Lane Carver and 23 year-old Cayley Marie Hammond on charges of Grand Larceny, Burglary and other offenses.
Also on Thursday, in an unrelated case, Oconee County Deputies arrested 28 year-old William Kyle Craig of Seneca and charged him with numerous traffic offenses, as well as trafficking in meth.
Each of those suspects remain in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center pending bond proceedings.
