Seneca Man Charged with Grand Larceny; Belton Man Accused of Meth Distribution

On Sunday Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 24 year-old Melvin Leonel Saravia Cabrera of Seneca and charged him with Grand Larceny. His bond was set at $25,000 and he remains in jail at this time. He is accused in warrants of taking a2005 Ford F-150 from a Wells Highway auto dealer.

Also on Sunday, Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 47 year-old Stephen James Jester of Belton and charged him with being an habitual traffic offender, driving under suspension – third or subsequent offense, and manufacturing or distributing methamphetamine, also third or subsequent offense. His bond was set at $35,000 and he, too remain in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center.
