Seneca Man Charged with Second Degree Burglary, Other Offenses

On Tuesday the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested 49 year-old Michael Harold Jenkins of Seneca on charges of Second Degree Burglary, Possession of Meth and Petit Larceny.

Investigators alleged that Jenkins tried to break into a vacant home on Singing Pines Road near Seneca.

They added that his vehicle got stuck in the mud when deputies arrived and he tried to leave the scene.

He remains in the Oconee County Detention Center with a combined bond set in the amount of $15,000.
