Seneca: Man Denied Bond on Gun & Domestic Violence Charges; Woman Charged with Child Abuse

38-year-old Tony Ray Lash, Jr. of Seneca was arrested on Sunday by the Seneca Police Department. He is facing charges of pointing and presenting firearms at a person, malicious injury to personal property, sale or possession of a weapon by certain persons, and domestic violence in the first degree. Lash’s bond has been denied for all charges and he remains in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center.

In an unusual case, a lost child in Seneca led to the arrest of a 27-year-old mother, Summer Danielle Pless, on charges of cruelty to children on Sunday. The police investigation began with a welfare check near Overbrook Drive after a child, dressed in pajamas, appeared on a ring doorbell camera. A DSS caseworker was called to assist in the investigation. Pless is out of jail on bond.
