The Comprehensive Plan will be discussed with Benchmark Consultants on Monday evening at 6:00pm during a Seneca Planning Commission Meeting, which is being held in Council Chambers at City Hall.

Also during that meeting, the commission will consider Forestar Group’s application for a planned residential development of close to 100 acres on the northwest side of the city near Lake Keowee.

According to a recent meeting held at Shaver Rec Complex with Forestar Group, the plan there calls for 88 single family homes and more than 250 townhomes on land near Keowee Plantation and Woodcreek Drive. Local residents and homeowners are encouraged to attend the public hearing, again Monday evening at 6:00pm at City Hall in Seneca.
