Seneca Police arrest 15 in latest Drug Sweep

Seneca Police arrested 15 people yesterday as part of their latest drug sweep operation, which involved 44 warrants for the arrest of 25 people on charges ranging from distribution of methamphetamine, crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana and prescription drugs. Seneca Police Chief John Covington said that members of the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office assisted his officers in the operation. This latest drug sweep operation stems from a five-month long undercover investigation by the Narcotics Unit of the Seneca Police Department.
