Seneca Police Department Arrests Seneca Man On Multiple Property Crime And Weapons Charges

(Seneca, SC)—————–The Seneca Police Department arrested a Seneca man earlier this week on multiple charges, including a charge of First Degree Burglary.

31 year old Waylon Eugene Robison has also been charged by the Seneca Police Department with one count each of Grand Larceny, Possession of a Weapon During Commission of a Violent Crime and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. 

The investigation began after officers responded the evening of April 9th to an address on Pelfrey Street in reference to reports of a burglary and then the Criminal Investigations Division was notified. 

As the investigation continued and evidence was gathered in the case, it was determined that Robinson had entered the residence on Pelfrey Street and was possession of a weapon during commission of the crime. While inside the residence, Robinson stole money, firearms, a safe and TV’s, among other items. 

According to the arrest warrants, Robinson did possess multiple handguns and long guns while committing the burglary. Robinson was also prohibited from possessing a firearm due to a conviction of a crime of violence. 

Robinson was arrested without incident and transported to the Oconee County Detention Center.
