Seneca Police Department gives update on stabbing death

The Seneca Police Department reports the stabbing incident late Thursday night that resulted in the death of Thomas Ivester Mark has undergone preliminary review by the 10th Circuit Solicitor’s Office for consideration of any applicable charges. At this point in the investigation, the solicitor has opined that no charges should be filed at this time based on a probable “self defense” situation. The solicitor will await the autopsy and final investigative results before any firm finding on the case. With this development, the initial temporary custody order has been lifted on Donald Clark Walker for Attempted Murder. Walker remains incarcerated and stands charged with two counts of Distribution of Crack Cocaine from unrelated cases from out Narcotic’s Unit. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
