Seneca Spraying for Mosquitos Tonight; Reminder to Check on Elderly Neighbors & Pets in Extreme eat

Seneca has announced that a spraying day for mosquitos is scheduled today. The spraying takes place in the evenings around 8:30 pm. The city does not spray if it rains.

If people are close to the area to be sprayed, city workers are required to turn the machine off until moving past the people. If you keep bees inside the city limits, call the Public Works at 864-885-2750 or email [email protected].

And also as a reminder, please check on elderly neighbors in the heat and be sure pets are properly cared for with shade and cool water.
