Seneca Traffic Stop yields Seven in Custody

A month-long illegal drug investigation concluded Wednesday night with the arrest of seven individuals after a traffic stop. The Narcotics Division of the Seneca Police Department investigated the residence at 803 East South 2nd Street for suspected illegal drug activity since mid April. A vehicle was stopped leaving that residence, which resulted in the seizure of a large amount of methamphetamine, cash, drug paraphernalia and the arrests of all of the vehicle occupants. A search warrant was also obtained and served at the residence. The seizure of 154 grams of meth from the traffic stop represents the second largest to date by the Seneca Police Department with an estimated street value of around $17,000. Seven arrests were made with charges ranging from trafficking methamphetamine to possession of meth, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Those arrested were Amy Deanna Cobb and Travis James Romero of Westminster, Joseph Eugene Willoughby, William Hayes Rush, Lindsay Rebecca Eades, and Tabatha Nell Pitch of Seneca.
