Seneca’s 150th Anniversary Logo to be Unveiled at Tuesday Meeting

Seneca City Council will meet tomorrow night at 6:00pm in Council Chamber at City Hall. Several items are on the meeting’s agenda, which begins with the City’s Sesquicentennial Logo unveiling by Mayor Dan Alexander. 2023 marks the 150th anniversary of Seneca’s founding, which took place in 1873.

Also on the agenda, the council will hear the second and final reading of an ordinance to enact the Trespass Enforcement Authorization Program, which seeks to establish a partnership between police and the city’s business sector to make trespass enforcement easier on both officers and business owners.

Prior to adjournment, the council will retreat to an executive session for legal advice regarding the pending legal matter with OJRSA, The City of Walhalla & The City of Westminster. Tuesday night’s meeting is open to the public.
