Server Upgrades scheduled for OCPL this Weekend
The Oconee County Public Library (OCPL) will undergo server maintenance on Saturday, Feb. 3, and Sunday, Feb. 4. During that time, all patron records and records for library materials will not be available. So patrons will not be able to check their accounts online, nor use OverDrive. But Flipster, Ancestry Library edition, and some other databases should still be available. The Walhalla Library will be open on Sunday, Feb. 4. Patrons will be allowed to check out two items per library card on Sunday, and they must have their card because the library will have no way to look up a patron’s record. Public Internet computers should not be affected. The library will be able to issue guest access for Sunday. The library anticipates that all branches should have access to all accounts by Monday, Feb. 5.
