Seven Cases of COVID-19 In Oconee County Schools

There are now a total of seven confirmed cases of COVID-19 within the School District of Oconee County. Three students – one from Walhalla High, one from Seneca High and one from Walhalla Elementary have all tested positive for coronavirus, as well as an employee at Orchard Park Elementary and an employee at the Hamilton Career and Technology Center. An employee at Walhalla High and another at James Brown Elementary also tested positive, but never entered the school building, according to School District officials.
