Seventeen graduate Oconee Fellows Program

Seventeen community leaders graduated from the Oconee Foundation Fellows program, with nominations already being taken for the upcoming class. Oconee Memorial Hospital Foundation presented certificates to 17 new graduates of its Fellows program, following six months of exploring issues surrounding health care today. More than 165 community leaders have graduated from the OMH Foundation Fellows program, commonly known as Oconee Fellows, since it began in 2008. “Oconee Fellows gives participants the opportunity to understand the rapid changes occurring in health care and the impact these changes can have on them and their businesses,” said Cortni Nations, manager of OMH Foundation. “The class focuses on healthcare issues facing South Carolina as well as Oconee and Pickens counties. It also gives participants the opportunity to see the day-to-day medical advances at the Greenville Health System Oconee Medical Campus and gain insight from the medical community leaders there.” The 2015 class included Judy Barnaskey, Chase Burkett, Anna Connelly, Bo Crader, Dr. Chuck Garabadian, Sam Head, Kade Herrick, Bonnie Holmes, Jan Jerome, Allie Larson, Chris Lecroy, Dr. John Leheup, Grant Nicholson, Sandra Pruitt, Bob Rider, Edna Rider and Patti Walter.
