Several Arrests Made Monday in Oconee County

Several arrests were made in Oconee County on Monday, according to jail records.

Darryl Roger Talley

An investigation by the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office into inappropriate touching led investigators to charge a Walhalla man with one count of Criminal Sexual Conduct – Third Degree. 58 year old Darryl Roger Talley was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on Monday afternoon and released Tuesday after posting $25,000 bond. The Sheriff’s Office investigation began on October 11th. Investigators said that evidence showed Talley had grabbed the body part of the victim, during the fall of 2019, and used physical force to do so. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation.

Brandon Kyle Stancil

Brandon Kyle Stancil, age 30, was charged by Walhalla Police with pedestrian under the influence, refusal to accompany arresting officer, throwing bodily fluids on police, possession of meth, receiving stolen goods and tampering with evidence. He remains in jail pending bond.

James Francisco Magana

Walhalla Police also arrested 25 year-old James Francisco Magana on Monday and charged him with third degree assault and battery as well as malicious injury to property. He is in custody awaiting bond.
