Several Drug Arrests in Oconee County Over Independence Day Weekend

Numerous drug arrests were made by area law enforcement agencies over the Independence Day holiday weekend. On Saturday, Walhalla Police arrested 32 year-old Julianna Elizabeth Sims of Walhalla for manufacturing cocaine and other narcotics with intent to distribute. And also, according to arrest records from the Oconee County Detention Center, West Union resident Allison Danell Barrineau, age 37, was charged by Walhalla Police on Saturday night, July 2, with giving false information, distributing or manufacturing meth (first offense), furnishing contraband in a jail, tampering with evidence and she was also served three bench warrants. Barrineau is out of jail on bond, according to reports.

And another apprehension on Saturday by Walhalla Police was that of Carlene Michelle Denny, age 49 of Seneca, on a charge of trafficking in meth. Oconee County Deputies on Sunday charged Frank Eugene Gardner, Jr of Westminster with trafficking crack, unlawfully carrying a weapon and driving under suspension.

Then, on Monday, Sheriff’s Deputies charged Brandon James Dodd, age 32 of Walhalla with manufacturing meth. He was also served a bench warrant from Seneca Municipal Court. Those suspects remain in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center pending bond and judicial proceedings.
