Several Drug Charges Filed in Oconee County This Weekend

On Friday, Walhalla Police arrested 32 year-old Jonathan Ervin Chapman on charges of first degree burglary, petit larceny, possession of a controlled substance and methamphetamine. He remains in jail pending bond, according to records from the Oconee County Detention Center.

On Saturday, jail reports show that Seneca Police charged 54 year-old Kevin Lane Campbell with his third or subsequent offense of possession or distribution of methamphetamine. His bond was set at $10,000 and he remains in custody at this time.

Also on Saturday, Oconee County Deputies arrested 26 year-old James Brent Haight and charged him with Driving Under Suspension and possession or distribution of methamphetamine. He is in the Oconee County Detention Center with a bond set at more than $25,000.

And bond was set at more than $50,000 for 36 year-old Terrell Logan Compton. Oconee County Deputies arrested him on Saturday on several traffic related offenses, including reckless driving and failure to stop for blue lights, as well as possession or distribution of methamphetamine. He remains in custody at this time.
